General terms and conditions

Minimum number of nights: 1 night

Check-in: from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. (earlier check-in is possible by prior agreement; depending on room availability)

Check-out: until 11 a.m. (later check-out is possible by prior agreement; depending on room availability, with extra charge)

Prices: prices include 9.5% VAT (additional services 22% VAT)

Bookings of 3 or more rooms: Hiša Janko welcomes group bookings, but due to the size of our hotel, please contact us directly for more informations (booking@hisajanko.com or 00386 51 743 000.) This way we can accommodate you as best we can and according to your group needs. A reservation for 3 or more rooms, regardless of whether it is booked with one or more reservations, is considered a group booking. Groups should contact the hotel sales department for reservations to receive special services and group rates. Group services are not available when reservations are made electronically or via the Internet and may be canceled by the hotel. Group bookings may be subject to warranty and cancellation policies.

Tourist tax: not included in the price of the basic service and will be added separately. Currently it is 2.5 EUR per day for an adult (children up to the age of 7 do not pay the tourist tax, children between the ages of 7 and 18 have a 50% discount on the tourist tax)

Reservations and payments:
A valid credit card (Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Diners) or advance payment to TRR is required to confirm the reservation (by prior agreement). Full payment is required upon check-out, unless otherwise specified in the reservation confirmation (non-refundable reservation). Upon check-out, the guest can pay by cash or credit card.
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours before arrival (hotel) and 5 days before arrival (apartments) to avoid cancellation fees. For reservations of more than 3 rooms and longer stays, please contact us. We will prepare a specially designed offer for you.

Cancellation Policy:

Standard bookings:
Cancellation costs, unless otherwise agreed, are charged according to the following scale:
Hotel: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. Late cancellations will be charged for one night stay costs.
Apartments: Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival. Late cancellations will be charged for one night stay costs.
Non-refundable bookings
Full payment is charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
No show policy
If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the reservation will be considered a no-show, and the applicable cancellation fee will be charged.
Modification policy
A change in the reservation date is possible depending on the occupancy status and taking into account seasonal price changes. We accept any complaint in writing to booking@hisajanko.com.

Price lists
Price for room only
The "Room only price" includes accommodation only without any additional meals or services.
What's included:

• Comfortable accommodation in the selected room category.
• Access to all room amenities including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, flat screen TV and toiletries.
• Free access to the peaceful environment of Hiša Janko, including outdoor spaces by the nearby stream.
• This offer does not include breakfast or other food services. Guests can add breakfast or other meals at an additional cost, subject to availability.
• Standard cancellation policies and guarantees apply unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Rates
Standard rate

• Flexible cancellation policy: Change or cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before arrival (hotel) or up to 5 days before arrival (apartments) at no extra cost.
• No prepayment: Payment is made at the location during the stay. However, the reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. A deposit is also required for bookings of more than 2 rooms.

Non-Refundable Rate

• lower prices compared to flexible prices (-10%)
• Full payment at the time of booking: The full cost of the stay is charged at the time of booking.
• No cancellations or changes: Please note that this price does not allow for changes or refunds, even in case of cancellation or no-show.
  All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card (name of cardholder, card number, expiration date and CVC code).

Hotel policy
To ensure your comfort, Hiša Janko has a "Commitment to Peace" in the rooms and public areas. Complaints from other guests about excessive noise may result in the noisy company leaving the hotel immediately without a refund.
House Janko is a non-smoking complex. Smoking is allowed outside the premises, in designated areas. For smoking any substance, we will add a cleaning fee of €200 to your bill. We also charge for other hotel damage caused in hotel rooms and common areas.
We take particular pride in providing our guests with clean rooms. You agree that excessive stains or damage to our property will result in a minimum of €50 in cleaning costs.
Additional charges to the guest room will be settled upon check-out.
The hotel does not assume responsibility for the personal property, money and valuables of the guests in the hotel or for their vehicles in the parking lot.
